Traffic cone

This US PVC cone is 90 cm high on a 36.5 x 36.5 cm base and weighs 5.5 kg. Two reflective bands, 10 cm and 15 cm wide, sit near the top, and the 6.00 cm top opening takes a warning bar or a flag pole. At 90 cm the upper band sits well above a car bonnet, so the traffic cone is seen before a driver starts the lane change. The 5.5 kg weight keeps the traffic cone in place on an open shoulder where wind catches a lighter unit. The 36.5 cm base lines the cones evenly along a long taper. This is the tallest cone in the range, so use the traffic cone on high speed roads and keep 50 cm units for car parks.
